Rest in peace Anna Nicole
A turbulent life ended yesterday when Anna Nicole Smith was found lifeless in her hotel room in Florida.
Born Vicky Lynn Hogan she grew up in Texas thinking and wishing she could be the next Marilyn Monroe.
After years of working as a stripper she had her break with Playboy and quickly landed lucrative deals with Guess Jeans and H&M. Drama always followed her and when she married J Howard Marshall, 63 years her senior the tabloids couldn't get enough. Last year, three days after the birth of her baby girl Danielynne tragedy struck when her son Daniel was found dead.
It seems that Anna Nicole never recovered form losing her boy and we can't blame her.
Her career and personal life may sometimes have been questionable but at the end of the day she was a human being, a woman, a mother with deep love for her son.
We are appalled that video footage that supposedly was shot whilst Anna received CPR has been sold and that people are trying to use her sad and tragic death to make money. We've also seen blogs using topless pictures of her in postings regarding her death. We choose to celebrate Anna Nicole by remembering her as a colourful and ditzy blonde that at least made the red carpet fun to look at.
Our thoughts go out to her family and especially to her baby girl.
Rest in peace Anna.
