Kylie X

The wait is finally over! On November 26th Kylie releases 'X', her first new studio album in four years. 'X' is preceded by the new single '2 Hearts' on November 12 (available digitally November 5). The Sun have already branded the single a "surefire No.1".

The album, Kylie's 10th, features 13 new tracks and was recorded in London, Stockholm and Ibiza. 'X' is Kylie's first studio album since 'Body Language' in November 2003. It features the first new Kylie material since the greatest hits compilation 'Ultimate Kylie' in 2004.

For months fans have been referring to the title of the new album as 'X', so when it came to naming the album it was the obvious choice.

Along with the new album 'X', Kylie is starring in a brand new documentary 'White Diamond' which she made with long-time creative director William Baker. White Diamond gives fans the unique chance to see Kylie's triumphant return to the world stage with her 2006 Showgirl Homecoming Tour.

The film shows Kylie as never before with intimate close up back stage footage and interviews including Kylie talking about her feelings, worries and aspirations on how she and her team take Showgirl from rehearsals to the road first in Australia and then to the UK.

The film will be premiered at Vue cinemas across the UK on October 16th, with a DVD release planned for December. The DVD will feature 2 discs, with Showgirl Homecoming Live (recorded in Melbourne, Australia December 2006) as the second disc.

Style Queen

The stunning Kylie Minogue left her home for a pre-arranged doctor's appointment in London yesterday From there, Kylie with her PA, walked a short distance to a charity shop. After browsing the shelves for several minutes, Kylie settled on buying a selection of cards, included one with nuns in dodgems printed on the front. The Aussie singer was all smiles as she kept a low profile. Wearing dark shades and a black scarf, hardly anyone recognised the pop princess as she walked though a crowd of diners at the Bluebird restaurant, where she had lunch. Kylie decided to have one more nose round the shops, before heading back to her London home.

Scrummy Kylie!

Miz Kylie Minogue looked scrummy and good enough to eat when she stepped out to celebrate the release of her first single 'Locomotion' at her 20th Anniversary Party in London earlier tonight. We need some new music soon though!

We should be so lucky to be Doctor Who

The lovely Kylie Minogue left her home and headed off to Cardiff where she joined the 'Doctor Who' film set for the second time. As Kylie leaves her house, she waves at waiting photographers and spares 5 minutes of her busy time to cuddle and pose up with some very young fans. Just lovely!

Kylie Minogue, Pop Princess, icon and national treasure, is the 2007 recipient of the prestigious annual Music Industry Trusts' Award, the first woman in the event's 16 year history to receive the honour.

Previous recipients include Elton John and Bernie Taupin, Sir George Martin, Michael Parkinson, John Barry and Peter Gabriel. The Award will be presented to Kylie on the evening of 29 October at London's Grosvenor House in the presence of over 1200 guests from the UK's music and entertainment industry.

The MITS Award Committee are delighted that Kylie is this year's honouree. The Award is being presented to Kylie in "recognition of her universally acclaimed status as an icon of pop and style achieved over a 20 year career which has seen her reinvent, experiment and inspire. Kylie has established one of the longest and most successful careers as a performer in contemporary popular music and her tenacity and determination to succeed, on and off the stage, have been an inspiration to so many. Kylie has a unique place in this country's heart and an appeal that seems to grow ever wider. We salute Kylie for her unique gifts as one of the great entertainers of all time."

"It is an incredible honour to be the recipient of this year's Music Industry Trust's Award and I am truly thrilled to be recognized in this way," Kylie responded. "As well as being a fantastic evening, this award ceremony also raises much needed funds for The Brit Trust and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and it is a pleasure for me to be involved."

A letter from Miss Minogue

Hi everyone,

I am currently working in various studios, writing and recording my tenth album. I have to say, it has been very disheartening to learn that a number of the demos and recorded tracks I have worked on so far were stolen then placed onto the internet. We believe that the situation has been contained.

In any event, I am moving forward with the recording every day with the aim of making the best album I can. It is now over a year since I started making this album and the possibility that it might be finished with a release before Christmas is very exciting. (No promises though :)!)

Superhuman

We looooove that Kylie i starting to look superhuman these days.
The pictures are from the Dolce & Gabbana party held at the Baoli club in Cannes and she looks fantastic.
Like she's walking in Photoshop! That's a huge difference from just a year ago when she was walking in Paris during her chemo.

Miss Minogue arrived at the Cinema Against Aids 2007 in aid of AMFAR at Le Moulin de Mougins in Cannes. The AMFAR foundation raises funds for research, education and treatment of AIDS / HIV worldwide. Perfection.

H&M's theme this summer is Australia - a relaxed, sporty, beach-life feel mixed with the glam look and lots of shiny metallic. H&M pays tribute to the sparkling pop princess and style icon, Kylie Minogue, by designing a limited line of "bohemian-chic" beachwear with Kylie as a muse. Kylie is also the face of the upcoming beachwear campaign.

The 'H&M loves Kylie' line is part of H&M's main swimwear range and contains fifteen styles which will be in all H&M stores that sell womenswear in mid May.

'When we think Australia and glamour we think Kylie, who is such a stylish person,' says H&M's head of design Margareta van den Bosch.

'It has been a great experience to work with H&M on creating this summer range. To me it is all about summer indulgence, effortless chic and lots of fun!' says Kylie.
