An open letter from Paris

Happy 4th of July!
Current mood: excited

Hey everyone! I'm back from my much needed vacation in Maui. It was so beautiful and relaxing. But its good to be home again. I just want to thank you all for your letters of love and support. I am doing my best to respond to each and every one with the letter I wrote--that message was for fans like you who have supported me through it all.

I wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be updating my myspace and writing in more cause I haven't done it in awhile. The past month has inspired me to move forward with some exciting new projects, so I will keep you all posted.

Happy 4th of July everyone, and remember to be responsible and have a designated driver! Just looking out for you all. I love you and have an amazing summer!

Rick and Kathy Hilton arrived mid frenzy at Paris' home to see their daughter. Parasite as we all know and love is currently under house arrest and is wearing an electronic bracelet as she serves out the remainder of her sentence.

Paris Update

LA County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says that Paris Hilton has been fitted for an ankle bracelet and put under house arrest for the next 40 days, after authorities decided to release Paris from jail due to medical reasons. She got out of jail just after 2:00 AM.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris' "medical issue" due to confidentiality, but said that medical officials "constantly examined" her while she was in jail.

Paris will be under house confinement in her West Hollywood home for 40 days. After the 40 days are up, Whitmore says she will have "fulfilled her debt to society."

Parasite has not only had her sentence cut short, she is already out of jail!
The deal was reportedly sealed yesterday, and that she made her exit early early this morning., L.A time.
Paris was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. And she served a total of three days.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference in an hour to discuss what went down.

What will they say?
She was bored?

Paris goes to jail!

Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for violation of her probation during a hearing in Downtown Los Angeles. The jail sentence stems from Paris being caught driving on a suspended license in February. Her license was suspended because of a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) arrest in September 2006. Paris held her head high while walking out of the courthouse, accompanied by her father, Rick but appeared emotional in the car. Reportedly Judge Michael T. Sauer will not allow Paris to serve her 45 days with work release or electronic monitoring. Hilton is to report to jail on June 5.
